The Functional Enablement Manager is the Global Owner of Functional Enablement at Allianz Services. The role is accountable for Internal Audit processes, methodology, tools, data analytics, and AI enablement across Allianz Services. The position drives the continuous evolution of audit practices, supports the Global Audit Universe, and promotes innovation through data-driven and AI-enabled audit approaches.

What you do

  • Drive the definition, implementation, and continuous improvement of Internal Audit methodologies, processes, standards, templates, and tools across Allianz Services.
  • Own and maintain the Audit Universe (AU), supporting risk assessment, audit planning, and annual planning activities.
  • Act as the center of competence for audit tools, analytics, and operational reporting, ensuring consistency and efficiency across the function.
  • Develop and promote data analytics and AI capabilities to enhance risk identification, control assessment, audit coverage, and audit effectiveness.
  • Roll-out and maintain AI-enabled solutions and emerging technologies to improve audit execution, knowledge management, reporting, and quality assurance.
  • Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), providing global reporting and meaningful insights to management and stakeholders.
  • Support audit teams with advanced analytical techniques, data visualizations, dashboards, and innovative audit methodologies.
  • Shape the future of Internal Audit by establishing functional rules, fostering innovation, and driving a culture of continuous improvement and digital transformation.

What you bring

  • Strong understanding of Internal Audit Standards, Methodology, Risk Management, and Internal Control frameworks.
  • Proven experience in audit transformation, process improvement, or functional enablement within an audit, risk, or control environment.
  • Solid knowledge of data analytics concepts, including data extraction, analysis, visualization, data quality assessment, and reporting.
  • Familiarity with AI technologies and their practical application in audit, risk management, governance, or business processes.
  • Experience with analytical and visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Python, or similar technologies is highly beneficial.
  • Ability to translate complex analytical insights into practical and actionable recommendations for business and audit stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills, with the ability to influence across a global organization.
  • Agile mindset, curiosity, and commitment to continuous learning, innovation, and professional development.
  • We highly welcome candidates with a genuine interest and affinity for Information Technology (IT) and Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI), as these attributes are considered valuable assets to our team.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Information Systems, Data Analytics, IT, or a comparable field.
  • Experience of 3-5 years in internal audit, risk management, controls, audit methodology, audit transformation, or functional enablement.
  • Knowledge of data analytics, AI-enabled audit approaches, and digital audit tools.
  • Professional audit certifications (CPA, CIA, CISA) and Allianz Group experience are advantageous.
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English.
