ABOUT OUR CLIENT

Our client is a regional Microsoft business applications partner with established operations in Singapore and Malaysia. The company specializes in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and supports businesses that need practical ERP solutions for finance, purchasing, sales, inventory, project-based operations, and business reporting. The company is now entering Thailand and is building its first local team. This is a strong opportunity for someone who wants to grow with a regional Microsoft ERP partner while receiving support from experienced colleagues outside Thailand.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a Functional Consultant to support Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central implementation projects for Thai clients. This role will become part of the first Thailand team. The person will support the implementation lifecycle after a project is won, including requirement gathering, process review, configuration support, UAT, user training, documentation, and go-live support. The role is suitable for someone with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, Dynamics NAV, or ERP implementation exposure who wants to develop into a stronger consultant with wider project ownership.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Implementation and Functional Consulting

• Support end-to-end Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central implementation activities.
• Gather requirements from Thai users and business stakeholders.
• Review customer processes and map them against standard Business Central functionality.
• Support system configuration, functional design discussion, testing, and user acceptance activities.
• Coordinate with regional consultants and technical teams from Singapore or Malaysia.

Business Process and Module Support

• Work across ERP modules such as finance, sales, purchasing, inventory, and related operational workflows.
• Help identify gaps between customer requirements and standard system capability.
• Support discussions around localization, reporting, user roles, approval flows, and process controls.
• Assist with data migration preparation, master data review, and project documentation.

Thai Localization and User Support

• Support Thai users on practical ERP usage and local business workflows.
• Assist with topics related to Thai VAT, withholding tax, statutory reporting, e-tax, or local compliance where relevant.
• Prepare or support user training materials in Thai and English where needed.
• Provide go-live and post-go-live support during early project stages.

Pioneer-Team Contribution

• Act as one of the first local functional resources in Thailand.
• Help build local knowledge, templates, documentation, and user support materials.
• Provide feedback to the regional team on Thai client requirements and local implementation needs.
• Support the company's early Thailand growth as projects and local team size increase.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Experience

• Around 2 to 5 years of experience in ERP implementation, functional consulting, system consulting, or business application support.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, Dynamics NAV, Navision, or Microsoft ERP is strongly preferred.
• Candidates with ERP consulting experience from finance, supply chain, inventory, manufacturing, distribution, or project-based environments are relevant.
• Full-cycle implementation exposure is an advantage.
• Strong key users or ERP support specialists with real implementation involvement are also worth considering.

Functional Skills

• Understanding of ERP workflows across finance, sales, purchasing, inventory, or related modules.
• Able to support requirement gathering, UAT, user training, documentation, and go-live activities.
• Comfortable working with Thai business users and explaining system logic clearly.
• Exposure to Thai localization topics such as VAT, WHT, e-tax, or statutory reporting is an advantage.
• Power BI, Power Automate, reporting, or AL extension awareness is helpful but not mandatory.

Language and Mindset

• Native Thai language capability.
• Working English for email, documentation, and coordination with Singapore or Malaysia teams.
• Practical, hands-on, and willing to learn.
• Comfortable joining a launch-stage Thailand setup.
• Able to work with regional support while serving Thai clients locally.

THIS ROLE IS NOT SUITABLE FOR YOU, IF

• You only want back-end development work with no user contact.
• You have used ERP only as an end user with no implementation or project exposure.
• You expect a large local team and mature internal structure from day one.
• You prefer a narrow support role without requirement gathering, documentation, or training.
• You are not comfortable coordinating with regional teams in basic English.
