Our client in the Information Technology and Services industry is looking for a D365 Functional Consultant - Finance to lead the finance workstream within a complex programme environment. This role focuses on planning, coordination, and delivery of finance-related activities, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to define requirements and ensure high-quality outputs across all stages of implementation.

What you will do:

• Lead the overall finance workstream, including planning and delivery of all finance-related activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional programme teams to scope and define requirements.
• Plan and coordinate implementation activities within the finance workstream and track progress against milestones.
• Provide subject matter expertise and review deliverables to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Manage RAID items (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) and mitigate key risks and issues.
• Validate Functional Design Documents to ensure alignment with business and system requirements.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate strong understanding and implementation experience of multi-entity financial setup.
• Apply knowledge of dimensions, accounting structures, and derived dimensions.
• Configure and manage posting profiles.
• Implement tax setup, including HMRC and online configurations.
• Manage intercompany postings and consolidations.
• Oversee cash and bank processes.
• Structure and manage organisational hierarchies.
• Support budgeting processes and financial planning.
• Configure and manage workflows.
• Integrate payment solutions.
• Produce and manage electronic reporting.
• Execute and support month-end processing activities.
• Perform reconciliations.
• Apply understanding of currency considerations within financial systems.
• Coordinate effectively across stakeholders in a hybrid working environment.
