TeleSolv Consulting is seeking an experienced Functional Area Supervisor to support one of our federal clients in a high-volume government records and file operations environment. This is a fully onsite position supporting daily operations, staff supervision, and production reporting.

The ideal candidate will have experience leading clerical, records, or administrative teams in a structured and performance-driven environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Assign, monitor, and review the work of departmental staff
  • Report daily production statistics to the Site Manager
  • Prioritize workload and reallocate resources to meet Government-established goals
  • Ensure accurate completion of all assignments, including daily timesheets
  • Monitor staff attendance and absences
  • Support processing of priority assignments
  • Identify and address performance issues and recommend corrective actions
  • Schedule staff, approve leave requests, and assist with disciplinary actions when appropriate
  • Mentor team members and develop training plans
  • Create and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Participate in meetings with Government personnel
  • Serve as the point of contact for site operations in the Site Manager’s absence
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust – Level 3 (PT-3) clearance
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Prior experience in clerical, filing, records management, or administrative support roles
  • Experience supporting Government operations or working in high-volume documentation environments
  • Prior experience supervising or leading staff in an operational setting
  • Strong leadership and team-coordination abilities
  • Proficiency in monitoring workflow and meeting production targets
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to assess performance issues and implement corrective actions
  • Ability to develop training content and guide new employees
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to maintain operational standards and adapt best practices
