Context

The BeeStone program is a strategic B2B transformation initiative aiming to build a unified model across countries, leveraging an innovative digital and data platform. The Sales to Cash stream of BeeStone is a central pillar of this transformation, with the ambition to design and deploy a robust, agile, and scalable solution.

Engie's B2B activities in Poland are part of this transformation program, with the initial build and deployment of BeeStone (MVP) in the country.

Mission

As a Functional Architect with a Technical background, you will provide in-depth expertise in the design and implementation of functional architecture for B2B IS in Poland. You will contribute to the evolution of the functional architecture as part of the roll-out of the global BeeStone platform, working closely with local teams in Poland and the global architecture and delivery teams for the BeeStone core.

🎯 Key Responsibilities

  • Specify and document the functional architecture for B2B in Poland
  • Prepare functional architecture documents, including business processes and information flows
  • Ensure consistency between the functional architecture and the B2B core model
  • Ensure consistency between the local application architecture and the global BeeStone platform
  • Collaborate with local and global teams to ensure solutions are implemented in a compliant and consistent way
  • Participate in the evaluation and selection of solutions
  • Contribute to the definition of application architecture guidelines and standards

✅ Candidate Profile

  • Master's degree in Engineering, IT or a similar field
  • 10+ years' experience in Functional Architecture
  • Experience in energy supply is a plus
  • Experience in Sales-to-Cash processes, CRM and Billing is a plus
  • Fluent in Polish and English; French is a plus
  • Proactive, reliable and results oriented
  • Strong collaboration & sense of priorities
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Technical Skills:

  • 5+ years' experience in software development or implementation of complex IT systems
  • Architecture Methodologies: functional decomposition, domain-driven design (DDD) and standard architecture frameworks applied to large enterprise transformation programs
  • Modern software architecture: strong knowledge of Cloud-native ecosystems (preferably Azure and AWS), API management, middleware, microservices architectures and modern integration patterns (e.g., Event Hubs, service buses)
  • Data-Centric: proficiency in data modeling, data integration patterns, and modern data platform concepts (e.g. data lakehouse architectures)
