You'll play a key role in delivering high-impact projects that directly improve our e-commerce search experience. As a Functional Analyst focused on the Search Domain, you'll be the bridge between business needs and technical solutions. You'll work closely with our development squad, product owners, and stakeholders to ensure we're delivering a world-class search experience with our developed Search Solution

Yourroleandresponsibilities

• Define Search Solutions: Collect, analyze, and document business requirements for search functionalities. This includes everything from product discovery and faceted navigation to personalized results and query-to-product matching. You'll translate these needs into clear, actionable requirements and user stories for the development team.

• Assist in Creating a Future-Proof Search: Design functional solutions that are scalable and resilient. This includes conducting feasibility studies and risk analyses to ensure our search architecture can support a global e-commerce platform and future business growth.

• Collaborate and Guide: Drive understanding within the development squad by clearly articulating requirements. You'll assist the Product Owner and Project Leader by providing functional guidance and following up on the implementation of new or modified search features and applications.

• Validate and Optimize: After development, you'll validate that the new search features and solutions meet the initial business needs. You'll be a key part of the feedback loop, ensuring the delivered solution effectively solves the original problem.

• Stay Ahead of the Curve: Maintain expertise in the search domain, including new features and best practices for Elasticsearch You'll research and recommend solutions that enhance our customer experience and improve business outcomes.

HowtosucceedYourprofile

• Experience in the Search Domain: Proven experience as a Functional or Business Analyst, specifically within the search domain. Experience with Elasticsearch is a major plus.

• Agile Expertise: Solid knowledge and experience working in an Agile/Scrum or KANBAN environment. You should be comfortable collaborating closely with a cross-functional team.

• Technical Acumen: You should have a foundational understanding of how search engines work, including concepts like indexing, query processing, and relevance tuning. Experience working with proprietary Java microservices or similar APIs is a plus.

• Strong Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. You must be able to translate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and facilitate effective discovery and alignment sessions.

• Collaborative Spirit: A proven ability to work effectively and positively with employees across all levels of the organization.

• Attention to Detail: Exceptional organizational skills and a keen eye for detail.

• Adaptability: Willingness and ability to travel up to 10% internationally.
