You will get the opportunity to work in an international environment, with all entities of the KBC group for which we produce some 4500 reports.

Our department supports the reporting needs of our business clients Group Risk, Group Treasury and Group Finance. You’ll join an Agile Release Train (ART) where IT and business work as one team. Together, our teams ensure high‑quality, timely and compliant reporting for Liquidity, ALM (Asset & Liability Management) and Solvency II.

And now… we’re excited to strengthen our liquidity reporting team with an enthusiastic functional analyst!

As our Functional Analyst ( Liquidity reporting team), you would have the following responsibilities:

As a functional analyst, you work closely with the direct colleagues in the team. You will be responsible for the maintenance and changes in our engine (Regnology Risk Hub) which performs the liquidity calculations and reporting.

We are searching for Functional analyst who:

• is excited to take the chance to build up and expand their risk measurement & reporting knowledge and expertise
• has already some years of experience as analyst, preferably in a financial institution
• translates the business requirements into a detailed functional design in which alternatives (cost/benefit/impact) are worked out. The design should meet business needs and comply with existing architecture and standards.
• acts as the connection between the business, operational teams and developers
• completes quality check of the product and implement high standards
• takes the lead in coordinating changes end-to-end

Key competences that will help you succeed:

• You have an economic, mathematical or IT background.
• You are eager to learn and absorb new information quickly. You have the energy and talent to dive deep into new material, and to build up expertise in it.
• You have the interest and a strong analytical mind to quickly master the IT processes and the underlying business processes.
• You strive for high quality of the work you deliver and have good communication skills.
• You have practical knowledge of SQL so you can query data and analyze it.
• You are pragmatic, result driven and take initiative
• Having experience in risk calculations or regulatory reporting is a big plus.
• Having experience in Regnology Risk Hub, OneSumX and/or Riskpro is a big plus.
