As a Functional Analyst, you will play a key role in ensuring that digital solutions are aligned with user needs. You will act as a bridge between business and technical teams, ensuring effective communication and a shared understanding of objectives. This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities to gather the information needed to produce documentation, as well as a solid understanding of business processes and the technologies involved.

Responsibilities:

• Requirements analysis Analyze and document business objectives as well as functional and non-functional requirements in collaboration with the Product Owner (PO) and stakeholders.
• Stakeholder consultation Meet with key users to understand their goals and challenges.
• Requirements documentation Create detailed functional and technical specifications, including use cases and acceptance criteria.
• Developer support Clarify specifications, answer technical questions, and collaborate on necessary adjustments based on technical constraints.
• Testing and validation Work closely with the quality assurance team to define functional tests and validate results.
• Post-Production support Provide functional support after solution deployment and suggest continuous improvements based on user feedback analysis.
• Change management Document and track changes to functional requirements throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

Required Skills

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong understanding of business processes and technological challenges.
• Strong communication skills and ability to facilitate workshops.
• Ability to write clear functional and technical specifications.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and proficiency with project management tools (e.g., JIRA).
• Team player with a strong ability to deliver results in time-sensitive environments

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• A Master’s degree in Information Technology, Project Management, or Business Administration (MBA) is an asset.
• 4+ years of experience in a similar role, such as Functional Analyst, with proven experience in writing specifications.
• Fluency in French and English, both written and spoken.
