We are looking for a Functional Analyst - AS400 to support, maintain, and enhance Lawson applications while developing custom solutions, integrations, reports, and business process automation tools. This position will be full-time and remote.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop new applications, reports, and system customizations using RPG, COBOL, SQL, AS/400 Control Language (CL), and Lawson Interface Desktop (LID)

  • Troubleshoot technical issues within Lawson applications and provide advanced functional support to end users

  • Create and maintain interfaces between Lawson modules and external systems and vendors

  • Write SQL queries and utilize reporting tools to extract data and deliver reports, dashboards, and automated notifications

  • Automate business processes and workflows through Lawson Process Flows and other programming solutions

  • Analyze business requirements and user needs to develop functional specifications and program designs

  • Perform unit, integration, and system testing for new and modified applications

  • Document design activities, testing results, procedures, and software revisions throughout the development lifecycle

  • Enhance and optimize web user interfaces to improve usability and user experience

What You’ll Need

Required:

  • 4-6 Yrs Experience developing applications using RPG, COBOL, SQL, and AS/400 Control Language (CL)

  • Experience supporting and maintaining Lawson applications

  • Knowledge of system integration, interface development, and data exchange processes

  • Ability to write SQL queries and develop reports, dashboards, and automated notifications

  • Experience analyzing business requirements and translating them into technical solutions

  • Experience performing application testing, troubleshooting, and production support

  • Strong documentation and communication skills

Preferred:

  • Experience with Lawson Interface Desktop (LID)

  • Experience developing Lawson Process Flows

  • Experience enhancing web-based user interfaces

  • Knowledge of ERP systems and business process automation

Physical Demands

  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions

  • Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.

  • Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
