What You Will Do
- Develop and maintain scalable backend systems using TypeScript and Node.js.
- Design and optimize PostgreSQL databases for performance and scalability.
- Build robust APIs that support high-volume transactions and data processing.
- Collaborate with a small team to take features from concept to production.
- Ensure system reliability and performance through rigorous testing and optimization.
- Engage in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
- Stay current with industry trends in AI and machine learning to inform product development.
Ideal Candidate Background
- 2-5 years of experience as a Fullstack Engineer with a strong focus on backend development.
- Proficient in TypeScript and Node.js, with a solid understanding of PostgreSQL.
- Proven experience building production-grade systems and scalable backend APIs.
- Demonstrated ownership of features and the ability to work independently in fast-paced environments.
- Experience in early-stage startups, contributing to a culture of innovation and agility.

Compensation and Benefits
The base salary for this role ranges from $180K to $220K, complemented by equity options of 1% to 2%. This opportunity offers the chance to make a significant impact in a growing company at the intersection of finance and AI.
