We are looking for a motivated Backend Engineer to join our Professional Services R&D team in Jerusalem and have real impact on internal tools, product customizations and work in a small but mighty backend focused team. You will collaborate cross-functionally to help deliver quality solutions.

This position is based out of our Jerusalem office in Talpiyot and reports to the Dev Team Lead

What you will be responsible for

• Write clean, high-quality, high-performance, maintainable code.
• Contribute to developing new features, integrations, customization requests, improving existing code, and completing assigned tasks to support stability, performance, and scalability.
• Resolve incoming bugs and technical support requests in a timely manner.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, frontend engineers, and other teams to resolve issues and enable new functionality.
• Participate in regular code reviews and contribute ideas to improve code quality and development processes.
• Tolerate frequent context switching between support and development tasks.
• Adopt AI-based development tools and integrate them into your daily workflow.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent - advantage.
• 2 - 3 years of software development experience.
• Solid knowledge of MySQL or similar relational databases.
• Comfortable working in SaaS or web application environments.
• Excellent English communication skills; good Hebrew is preferred.
• Willingness to work onsite at our Jerusalem office 3-4 days a week (4 days preferred).
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Positive attitude towards using generative AI tools like Copilot, Cursor, or Anthropic.
