As part of Groupe BPCE’s international division, Natixis in Portugal designs and delivers solutions for its two core areas — Corporate & Investment Banking and Asset & Wealth Management — as well as transversal services that support all entities across the Group.

We are looking for a skilled full stack developer (mid level) for our BPCE SI (Solutions Informatiques).

Main Responsabilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java applications.
• Collaborate with product managers, architects, and other developers to understand project requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Perform code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and mentor junior developers.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve development practices.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum methodologies to deliver high-quality software on time.

Qualifications

Hard Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Java development.
• Knowledge of Angular.
• Strong knowledge of Java frameworks (e.g., Spring, Hibernate).
• Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Proficient in database management (SQL and NoSQL).
• Familiarity with front-end technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
• Strong communication skills in both French and English, both written and verbal (mandatory).

Soft Skills:

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills in both French and English, both written and verbal (mandatory).
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
