Located in Yuma, Arizona, Desert Veterinary Clinic is a full-service practice dedicated to providing compassionate, personalized care to pets and their families. The hospital offers a range of services, including wellness and preventive care, diagnostics and imaging, dentistry, vaccinations, and exotic pet care. With a knowledgeable and caring team, Desert Veterinary Clinic is committed to delivering high-quality medicine in a welcoming environment for the Yuma community and surrounding areas.

We are currently looking for Full-Time Veterinary Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have some experience as a Veterinary Assistant and have flexible availability.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Veterinary Assistant.
• Strong animal handling skills and knowledge of clinical procedures.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist Veterinarians with exams, treatments, and surgical procedures.
• Safely handle and restrain animals; administer medications and vaccines.
• Collect lab samples and maintain accurate patient records.
• Educate clients on pet care and ensure a clean, organized work environment.
