Job Description

Role Purpose:

The Stock Associate supports the store team in maximizing the shopping experience for all Jimmy Choo clients. They are involved in all inventory management responsibilities of the store.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Support the store teams in maximizing the shopping experience for all JC clients.
  • Assist in processing all inventory movements.
  • Responsible for effective implementation of all shipment standards and operational direction as it relates to product. Ensure that standards are being followed including floor sets, cleanliness, stock room organization, and sales promotion.
  • Shoe back stock adjusted and re-organized on on-going basis.
  • Ship customer goods, corporate documents or repairs in timely manner.
  • Run Negative On Hand report and adjust accordingly and/or communicate any call outs to manager.
  • Touch base with SM about incoming/outgoing shipments, supply orders, inventory needs.
  • Notify management of any shipment discrepancies, missed markdowns, and missing tickets in back stock areas
  • Complete damages as required; communicate plan to SM.
  • Complete price changes, if required by corporate.
  • Walk sales staff through stockroom and sales floor changes, if applicable.
  • Prepares merchandise to go out onto the sales floor with labels, etc.
  • Performs re-ticketing, re-pricing and markdowns as required.
  • Performs stock checks and pulls for clients and the store team.
  • Maintains appropriate stock levels and ensures that all styles are represented on sales floor. Maintains a clean, organized and efficient stockroom while adhering to company standards and safety requirements including bathrooms and associate break areas.
  • Protects company assets by ensuring adherence to all Loss Prevention procedures.
  • Restocking Cash Desk Supplies (register rolls, bags, ribbon, etc.)
  • Accurately receive, unpack and prepare merchandise for the selling floor to maximize merchandise presentation and daily sales
  • Respect and value opinions and recognize differences in team members to foster a positive work environment
  • Assist sales staff in developing customer relationships that generate sales and repeat visits
  • Be able to assist on the sales floor and fulfill Cashier duties as necessary
  • Demonstrate superior customer service practices to maximize sales and prevent shrink
  • Understand and demonstrate product knowledge, selling and operational skills to maximize sales and profits
  • Maximize / improve space utilization within the stock-room and ensure Back of House cleanliness and efficiency
