Full Time Security Officer

Location: Andover, MA

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7am-3pm

Pay Rate: $20.00/hour

Securitas Security Services is seeking a reliable and professional Full-Time Security Officer to ensure the safety and security of our corporate facility, employees, and visitors. The ideal candidate will maintain a visible presence, enforce company policies, and respond effectively to incidents while delivering excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and patrol assigned areas of the corporate site on foot and/or via surveillance systems
• Control access to the facility by verifying identification and issuing visitor badges
• Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and incidents, including medical situations
• Conduct routine security checks of doors, windows, and restricted areas
• Write clear and detailed incident reports and daily activity logs
• Provide customer service by assisting employees, guests, and vendors in a professional manner
• Enforce company policies, procedures, and safety regulations
• Coordinate with local law enforcement or emergency responders when necessary
• Report hazards, suspicious activities, or security breaches immediately

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Prior experience in security, reception, or customer service preferred

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations
• Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office, access control systems, CCTV monitoring software)
• Strong observational skills and attention to detail
• Reliable and punctual with a strong sense of responsibility
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
