What you’ll do: You will be responsible for delivering legendary service to make all guests of our Co-op feel “at home here” through:
- Responsible for the supervision of ensuring merchandise and the yard is stocked, displayed, organized, and reconciled to standard.
- Develop and deliver user-friendly specialized training content in the areas of Lumber, Paint, Hardware, and Project estimation.
- Collaborate with the Hardware Supervisor, Sales Leads and management.
- Demonstrate Leadership throughout the Agro Centre through supervision, training staff, and coaching
- Business to Business (B2B) sales, call outs, and project estimations
- Maintain customer relations by providing excellent customer service
- Assist with budgets, pricing, discounts and margins
- Staying knowledgeable of Lumber and a variety of product information
Who you are: You are interested in a career in sales & customer service and:
You have a High School diploma
Class 5 Drivers License
Ability to maintain and grow an extensive customer contact program
Project estimating education/experience is an asset
Training in Agro/Hardware/Lumber sales considered an asset
- 1+ years’ Supervisory experience is preferred
- Excellent communication and customer service Skills
- You are willing to work all shifts scheduled including evenings, holidays and weekends.
- You believe in building relationships and collaborating to deliver solutions that matter most, and you recognize the value that different perspectives bring to meet shared objectives.
- You are physically able to do heavy lifting of 50 lbs, climb ladders and kneel.
