Role Overview

We are seeking a high-energy, performance-driven Retail Sales Associate to join our team in a fast-paced lifestyle and sports-inspired retail environment. This role is accountable for delivering best-in-class customer service on the sales floor while also executing high standards of stockroom and operational discipline behind the scenes. You will be expected to drive sales, protect stock integrity, and contribute to a high-performance store culture where execution and customer experience go hand in hand.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Customer Experience (Front of House)

• Deliver outstanding customer service through active engagement, product knowledge, and styling support
• Consistently drive sales and conversion through strong selling behaviours and add-on selling techniques
• Build repeat customer relationships through excellent service and product confidence
• Support achievement of daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets
• Ensure the sales floor is fully stocked, well presented, and aligned to brand visual standards
• Handle transactions accurately and efficiently using POS systems
• Resolve customer queries quickly and professionally, escalating when required

Stockroom & Operational Excellence (Back of House)

• Receive, unpack, and process inbound stock with speed and accuracy
• Maintain strict stockroom organisation to ensure fast and efficient product flow to the sales floor
• Complete replenishment in line with store sell-through and commercial priorities
• Support inventory integrity through cycle counts, audits, and discrepancy resolution
• Execute markdowns, price changes, promotions, and floor transitions accurately and on time
• Adhere to all loss prevention procedures and support shrink reduction initiatives
• Maintain health, safety, and housekeeping standards in all back-of-house areas

Performance Expectations

• Consistently meet or exceed individual and store sales targets
• Maintain high standards of stock accuracy and replenishment efficiency
• Demonstrate strong product knowledge across all key categories
• Execute operational tasks within set deadlines with minimal error rates
• Contribute to a high-energy, team-first store culture focused on results

• Ability to work at pace in a high-volume environment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational discipline
• Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and peak trade periods
• Previous retail experience is an asset, but attitude and execution are critical
