Kingsway Retirement Living in Belle Plaine, MN is seeking an RN to provide direct nursing care to our residents as well as administrative support to the day-to-day operations of the assisted living community. We are looking for a caring, compassionate, experienced professional who loves taking care of people and prioritizes communication and engagement. This position requires providing care and monitoring fellow team members. We are looking for an individual who truly cares about making our community the best home possible for our residents.

Schedule:  Full Time flexible day hours
Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
- Up to $5,000 Sign-On Bonus – Full-Time positions

Position Summary
The Nurses at Kingsway are responsible for providing safe, high-quality, person-centered nursing care in accordance with Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS) regulations, professional nursing standards, and organizational policies. The Nurse collaborates with the management team to support the health, safety, and independence of individuals served.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Essential duties include, but are not limited to:
- Assist with initial, annual, and ongoing nursing assessments to evaluate residents’ health status and needs
- Maintain and update individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and Minnesota Nurse Practice Act
- Monitor for changes in residents’ physical and behavioral conditions and initiate appropriate nursing interventions
- Provide clinical oversight, guidance, and support to Home Health Aides
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation in the electronic health record
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare providers
- Participate in care conferences, audits, and quality improvement activities

Qualifications
Required:
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Minnesota
- CPR Certified
- Ability to meet DHS background study requirements
Preferred:
- Experience working in long-term care or assisted living facility

Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Residential healthcare setting
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 25 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
- Ability to respond to emergencies and provide hands-on care as needed

- Belle Plaine, MN 56011: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
