1. What will you do?

As a Full-Time Professor in Computing, you will join one of the leading educational institutions in Latin America, consistently ranked among the best universities worldwide, recognized for academic excellence, educational innovation, and international projection.

This position arises from the need to strengthen academic training and disciplinary development in Computer Science, Software Engineering, and Artificial Intelligence, with the goal of consolidating academic quality, professional relevance, and international projection within the School of Engineering and Sciences.

From this role, you will contribute to the education of highly competitive students, the strengthening of the academic body, and the institutional positioning of Tecnológico de Monterrey at both national and international levels, through academic practice aligned with global standards of quality, impact, and relevance.

2. How will you do it?

Your main challenges will be:

• Design and deliver learning experiences that are rigorous and challenging in the area of Computing, aligned with international standards of academic excellence.
• Strengthen and update study programs in Computer Science, Software Engineering, and Artificial Intelligence.
• Generate impact through research, industry collaboration, and relevant academic production.
• Collaborate strategically with the academic body in collegial initiatives that consolidate institutional positioning.
• Participate in faculty training and in the development of the Tec21 Model.
• Promote complementary activities such as symposia, conferences, and exhibitions.
• Foster external relations with prestigious national and international universities and institutions.

3. What are we looking for?

• PhD in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Artificial Intelligence, obtained at a university ranked among the world’s top 100 in the discipline, or at ITESM (with at least 3 years of experience outside the institution).
• Demonstrated research potential with at least three JCR publications in the last 3 years.
• Proven experience in teaching and academic leadership.
• Skills in educational innovation, consulting, or entrepreneurship.
• Professional experience in leadership activities.
• Ability to teach in English (minimum TOEFL 580 or equivalent).
• Passion for education and effective communication skills.
