Pagosa Springs Medical Center has an opening for a Full-Time Primary Care Physician. The primary care physician will work in PSMC’s Rural Health Clinic and provide diagnostic and medical care for patients. The primary care physician will also participate in patient satisfaction programs, quality improvement initiatives and any organizational or departmental goals and objectives to assure safe, quality care.
Schedule: Full-time physicians work four 10-hour shifts per week (not weekends). Includes paid time off for full-time physician: 260 hours per year.
Compensation:
Compensation range: $236,000 to $261,000.
A “starting work” bonus of $20,000 payable two weeks after starting work.
A CME allowance of $6,000 annually (gross and subject to taxes) for full-time physicians.
Retirement:
401a (mandatory plan): employee and employer each contribute 6% of earnings subject to five-year vesting.
457: optional retirement plan.
