Valleyview Co-op in MELITA, MB is looking for a Full-time GROCERY CLERK – Premium Rate at our Melita Food Store.

What you’ll do:

Under the direction of the Store Manager, a Premium Rate Grocery Clerk is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to members as well ensuring merchandising and image standards for the department are maintained to deliver solutions that matter most to the customer.

• Guides team members in merchandising standards
• Orders, receives, prices and displays product.
• Ensure productivity standards are met guiding team to meet schedules, checklists and image standards.
• Assists in completing inventory and inventory management (counts, temp checks, mark-downs)
• Leads/guides team in customer service standards and objectives
• Completes and ensures accountability of team members in housekeeping and maintenance activities
• Responsible for leading safe use of equipment and food safety requirements

• Completes day to day functions of the Manager in their absence including required administration work.

This position falls under Collective Bargaining Agreement with UFCW 832. Wage Range: $17.65 - $22.78
