RESPONSIBILITIES: SMCC is seeking full-time faculty to teach general nursing content across the curriculum in South Portland and the Midcoast Campus in Brunswick. Responsibilities include teaching 15 contact hours or the equivalent each semester of didactic content and clinical supervision/oversight of associate-degree nursing students in a variety of clinical settings. Flexibility to work during the day or evening, summer course coverage may be required.Faculty are responsible for developing, modifying, and assessing curricula; continuously improving teaching methodology and student-centered learning; staying current in the field; advising and maintaining scheduled availability to students; participating with other faculty in developing and managing courses, curricula and academic policy; participating in department and college activities, including committee work and college service; involvement with ACEN accreditation, and other professional duties related to the position that contribute to the success of the college. STARTING SALARY RANGE: $42,767.86 - $62,806.04
