Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 6:00 pm

Employment: Full-time, 100%

A lovely family based in Florissant, Geneva, is looking for an experienced, caring and dynamic full-time nanny to join their household and care for their newborn baby, due at the end of September.

The family is looking for someone who is gentle, warm and attentive, while also being energetic and proactive in their approach to childcare. The ideal candidate will be genuinely interested in building a long-term relationship with the family and becoming a trusted part of their daily life.

Main responsibilities:

• Providing attentive and loving care for the newborn throughout the day
• Following the baby's daily routine, including feeding, naps and walks
• Supporting the baby's development through age-appropriate activities and interaction
• Taking the baby outdoors and ensuring a stimulating and safe environment
• Keeping the baby's areas, clothes and belongings tidy and organised
• Helping with the baby's laundry and other child-related tasks
• Communicating openly with the parents and keeping them informed about the baby's routine and development

Requirements

Requirements:

• Previous professional experience caring for newborns or very young children
• Checkable references
• Warm, caring and gentle personality
• Dynamic, reliable and proactive
• Able to work independently and confidently with a newborn
• French or English speaking
• Looking for a long-term position
• Flexibility to occasionally provide babysitting in the evenings or at other times, when needed
