Charlotte’s Best Nanny Agency is assisting a family in West Charlotte near the Vineyards in finding a Full-Time Nanny for their newborn son. The nanny would be needed Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, 7:00 am - 1:00 pm; Tuesday and Thursday, 11:00 am - 5:00 pm. The ideal candidate will be flexible and available to work occasional weekend days in September and October.

The best nanny for this family would be warm, loving, highly engaged, knowledgeable of developmental milestones, and experienced caring for newborns. This family is seeking a dependable caregiver who will actively interact with their son throughout the day through reading, singing, talking, playing, and encouraging curiosity and learning. The nanny will help create and maintain a consistent daily routine, enjoy taking neighborhood strolls, and foster age-appropriate growth and development in a nurturing environment.

This family values excellent judgment and is looking for someone who is calm under pressure, safety-conscious, and capable of making sound decisions independently when needed. Reliability, punctuality, flexibility, and strong communication skills are essential. The ideal candidate will provide regular updates, communicate concerns promptly, be receptive to feedback, and work collaboratively with the parents as part of a team. Nanny Responsibilities Include:

• Meeting daily scheduling needs of the child (Feeding, Changing, Napping)

• Engaging with the child on an age-appropriate level

• Playing with the child both inside and outside the home

• Doing hands-on learning activities with the child

Household Duties Include (Children are first priority):

• Children’s laundry and changing children’s sheets weekly

• Children’s meal prep

• Unloading/loading dishwasher

• Wiping down kitchen counters

• Sanitizing toys and frequently used surfaces by the children

• Emptying the diaper pail

Pets: The family has a large dog. The nanny would be asked to let the dog into the yard throughout the day.

Qualifications:

• Have at least 3 years of professional nanny experience

• Have a college degree or equivalent experience

• Have a professional resume

• Fill out a complete online application

• Pass a national background check, including a driving record check

• Have a valid driver’s license

• Have safe and reliable transportation

• Have a minimum of three professional references

• Be non-smoking/vaping

• CPR and First Aid Certified

• Nanny should be fluent in English; any additional languages are a plus

• Must be up to date on TDAP vaccination prior to starting the position.

Start Date, Salary, and Benefits:

• This position starts August 3rd

• Legal pay is offered at $28-$30 an hour, depending on experience

• Continued pay while the family is away
