Charlotte’s Best Nanny Agency is assisting a family in South Park in finding a Full-Time Nanny for their two children, ages 2.5 years old and 1 year old. The nanny would be needed Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 5:30 pm, 45 hours a week.

The family is seeking a long-term nanny who will provide attentive, loving care while fostering a safe, engaging, and structured environment. The best nanny for this family would be reliable, responsible, nurturing, patient, trustworthy, organized, and experienced in caring for active toddlers.

The family prioritizes finding a nanny who can assist in maintaining a daily schedule and routine and is attentive to their children's needs. Responsibilities of the nanny will include creating a learning environment conducive to growth and actively encouraging the children to achieve developmental milestones. Daily activities should include reading, engaging the children in developmental activities, playing with toys, going on strolls, and outdoor play. The family values a nanny who is creative in crafting age-appropriate activities that will evolve with the children's growth, along with incorporating community experiences like pre-school, park visits, storytime, and library trips.

The family's 2.5-year-old attends a half-day preschool program three mornings per week (Tuesday-Thursday, 9:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m.). During that time, the nanny will focus on caring for the family's 1-year-old and providing individualized developmental activities. The nanny will also be responsible for preschool pickup as needed and ensuring a smooth transition between school and home.

Both parents work primarily from the office (occasionally working from home). The nanny should be comfortable working independently and managing the children's daily schedules, routines, and activities.

Nanny Responsibilities Include:

• Meeting daily scheduling needs of the children (Feeding, Changing, Napping)
• Engaging with the children on an age-appropriate level, encouraging independence and confidence in the older child while supporting the developmental needs of the younger child
• Playing with the children both inside and outside the home
• Doing hands-on learning activities with the children

Household Duties Include (Child is first priority):

• Wash, fold and put away children’s laundry
• Children's meal preparation and clean-up
• Clean dishes, and meal preparation items used by the children
• Sanitizing toys and frequently used surfaces by the children
• Keep children's play areas, bedrooms, and common spaces tidy and organized
• Restock diapers, wipes, and related children's necessities as needed
• Emptying diaper trash

Pets: The family has one dog (hound mix). The nanny would be asked to let her into the backyard throughout the day as needed.

Qualifications:

• Have at least 3 years of professional nanny experience
• Prior experience caring for two children simultaneously
• Have a college degree or equivalent experience
• Have a professional resume
• Fill out a complete online application
• Pass a pre-screening interview with Charlotte’s Best Nanny Agency
• Pass a national background check, including a driving record check
• Have a valid driver’s license
• Have a safe, reliable vehicle
• Comfortable driving children in nanny's vehicle using appropriately installed family-provided car seats
• Have a minimum of three professional references
• Be non-smoking/vaping
• Comfortable maintaining a fragrance-free environment and avoiding perfumes and heavily scented personal care products while working in the home
• CPR and First Aid Certified
• Nanny should be fluent in English; any additional languages are a plus
• Must be up to date on vaccinations, including TDAP, before starting the position.

Start Date, Salary, and Benefits:

• This position starts September 23, 2026
• Legal pay is offered at $28.00 - $32.00 an hour, negotiable depending on experience
