Charlotte’s Best Nanny Agency is assisting a family in Mallard Creek in finding a Full-Time Nanny for their 4-month-old daughter. The nanny would be needed Monday - Friday, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm.

The best nanny for this family would be warm, engaging, interactive, and deeply attentive to infant development. This family is seeking a professional, nurturing caregiver who truly enjoys caring for babies and takes pride in supporting developmental milestones. The ideal candidate is energetic, responsible, honest, reliable, thoughtful, and committed to building a strong and trusting bond with their daughter.

The nanny will be responsible for developing and maintaining a consistent daily schedule while supporting all aspects of care. A strong focus on active engagement is especially important to this family. They value a low-screen environment for their daughter and ask the nanny to prioritize hands-on interaction, play, and connection throughout the day. Limited personal phone use during working hours is appreciated, with the primary focus remaining on the child’s care, development, and daily activities. The nanny should enjoy getting on the floor to play, encouraging developmental growth through age-appropriate activities, and creating a warm, nurturing environment. Daily activities may include tummy time, storytime, sensory play, playing with toys in the nursery, and walks around the backyard to explore nature and surroundings. As their daughter grows, the family is open to discussing off-site outings.

Nanny Responsibilities Include:

• Meeting daily scheduling needs of the child (Feeding, Changing, Napping)

• Engaging with the child on an age-appropriate level

• Playing with the child both inside and outside the home

• Doing hands-on learning activities with the child

Household Duties Include (Child is the first priority):

• Child’s laundry and changing the child’s sheets weekly

• Child’s meal prep, including preparing bottles and solids

• Cleaning up the high chair and the surrounding area, as needed

• Unloading/loading dishwasher, sterilizing, and putting away bottles

• Wiping down kitchen counters

• Sanitizing toys and frequently used surfaces by the child

• Emptying diaper trash and stocking diapers and wipes

Qualifications:

• Have at least 3 years of professional nanny experience

• Have a college degree or equivalent experience

• Have a professional resume

• Fill out a complete online application

• Pass a pre-screening interview with Charlotte’s Best Nanny Agency

• Pass a national background check, including a driving record check

• Pass a Drug and Alcohol screen

• Have a valid driver’s license

• Have safe and reliable transportation

• Have a minimum of three professional references

• Be non-smoking/vaping

• CPR and First Aid Certified

• Nanny should be fluent in English; any additional languages are a plus

• Must be up to date on vaccinations, including TDAP, COVID, and MMR, prior to starting the position. In the fall, they will require the nanny to receive the annual flu shot and COVID booster.
  

Start Date, Salary, and Benefits:

• This position starts July 20th

• Legal pay is offered at $25-$28 an hour, depending on experience

• Continued pay while the family is away
