Responsibilities and Duties
WHO/WHAT: Some jobs are just jobs. This one has the potential to become part of a family's story. These parents are looking for someone who wants to settle in for the long haul—not just for the next year or two, but hopefully for the next 5–10 years. They're searching for the kind of nanny who'll one day laugh about toddler adventures, celebrate first days of school, cheer from the sidelines of activities, and become a trusted, steady presence through all the exciting seasons still to come.
Your days will revolve around two sweet little girls who keep life fun. The oldest is bursting with personality. She's just beginning to find her voice and has plenty to say—especially when those big toddler emotions arrive! She loves swimming, coloring, drawing, and bringing smiles wherever she goes. Her little sister is as sweet as they come. Curious about absolutely everything, she's happiest exploring the world around her, watching her big sister's every move, and flashing a smile that could brighten anyone's day. Together, they already share the sweetest little friendship, and their parents treasure watching them learn, grow, and make each other laugh.
Dad works outside of the home while Mom works remotely, so they're looking for a nanny who is confident taking ownership of the day while also working comfortably alongside a work-from-home parent. This role is much more than childcare. They're hoping to find someone who naturally notices what needs to be done and jumps in to help. Beginning this fall, both girls will attend preschool—the oldest three days a week and the youngest two days a week—creating dedicated time to help keep the household running smoothly. During preschool hours or while the girls are napping, you'll wash bottles, stay on top of the girls' laundry, vacuum and sweep high-traffic areas, prepare a light dinner, and care for the family's two lovable French Bulldogs by preparing and serving their meals. Think of yourself as the extra set of capable hands that helps the entire household breathe a little easier.
The family provides a vehicle for transporting the girls, and they'd love for you to fill their days with adventures—whether that's trips to the park, story time, activities around town, preschool pickup, or simply finding new ways to make ordinary afternoons memorable. If you're looking for a position where you can truly put down roots, build lasting relationships, and become an important part of a family's everyday life, we'd love to hear from you.
THE IDEAL NANNY IS… PROACTIVE! You don't wait to be asked—you notice. You see the bottles in the sink and wash them. You fold the girls' laundry before anyone thinks to mention it. You straighten the playroom, prep dinner while little ones nap, and naturally leave every day just a little easier than you found it. You're organized, dependable, and have the kind of common sense and professionalism that makes busy parents instantly feel at ease.
Most importantly, you genuinely love engaging with children. You're the nanny who gets down on the floor to build towers, cheers on new words, embraces messy art projects, heads outside for fresh air, and knows that sometimes the biggest feelings simply need the biggest hugs. You understand that childhood is made up of ordinary moments that become lifelong memories, and you delight in creating them.
These parents are hoping to welcome someone who is kind, trustworthy, experienced, and interactive—someone who will love their girls as if they were family while respecting the important role of being their nanny. If you're hoping to find a family you can grow alongside for years to come, where you'll be appreciated as both a caregiver and an invaluable teammate, this just might be the perfect fit.
