Charlotte’s Best Nanny Agency is assisting a family in Myers Park in finding a Full-Time Nanny for their newborn and 2-year-old. The nanny would be needed on Monday, 12:00 pm - 5:00 pm; Tuesday - Thursday, 7:00 am - 5:00 pm; and Friday, 9:00 am - 2:00 pm. The nanny must be flexible to occasionally come in early or stay late on Mondays and Fridays with advance notice.

The best nanny for this family would be dependable, proactive, organized, and an open communicator who takes initiative and genuinely enjoys engaging with young children. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who can create a structured, nurturing, and screen-free environment focused on learning, development, and active play.

This family is seeking a nanny who is passionate about supporting developmental milestones through educational play, hands-on activities, and consistent routines. Their energetic and curious 2-year-old loves to learn and thrives with interactive, engaging experiences. The nanny should enjoy planning creative activities around the home, encouraging exploration, and fostering learning through play and everyday experiences.

The daily routine will include preparing breakfast for the 2-year-old in the morning, taking walks to the local park, enjoying outdoor time and snacks, visiting the local library, and keeping the children actively engaged throughout the day. The family plans to follow the Moms on Call scheduling method for their infant and values consistency and structure within the children’s routine. This family is looking for a nanny who is warm, energetic, and attentive, and who will actively play with the children, engage them with toys and activities, and provide a calm, structured, and enriching environment each day.

The nanny should have limited personal phone usage throughout the day, prioritizing safety and one-on-one time with the children. Ideally, the nanny would be a long-term fit for the family and grow with them for years to come.

Nanny Responsibilities Include:

• Meeting daily scheduling needs of the children (Feeding, Changing, Napping)
• Engaging with the children on an age-appropriate level
• Playing with the children both inside and outside the home
• Doing hands-on learning activities with the children
• Arts and crafts at home
• Text updates/photos throughout the day
• Assist with Potty training
• Setting and maintaining age-appropriate boundaries

Household Duties Include (Children are the first priority):

• Children’s laundry and changing children’s sheets weekly
• Rotating children’s clothes and toys
• Children’s meal prep, including healthy breakfast and lunch, bottles, freezing breast milk, and baby purees during the transition to solids.
• Unloading/loading dishwasher, and sanitizing bottles and pump parts
• Wiping down kitchen counters
• Grocery shopping for kid’s meals/snacks as needed
• Sanitizing toys and frequently used surfaces by the children
• Keeping play areas organized
• Restocking diapers
• Emptying the diaper pail
• Simple package return on occasion

Qualifications:

• Have at least 3 years of professional nanny experience
• Have a college degree or equivalent experience
• Have a professional resume
• Fill out a complete online application

• Pass a national background check, including a driving record check
• Have a valid driver’s license

• Have safe and reliable transportation

• Have a minimum of three professional references

• Be non-smoking/vaping

• CPR and First Aid Certified

• Nanny should be fluent in English; any additional languages are a plus

• Must be up to date on vaccinations, including the annual Flu Vaccine and TDAP prior to starting the position.

Start Date, Salary, and Benefits:

• This position starts ASAP

• Legal pay is offered at $28 an hour, negotiable depending on experience
