Job Description

One Vision in Clear Lake is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician

This role is ideal for someone with hands-on maintenance skills, who is comfortable working with technology systems and implementing automations, likes a variety of activities and working in an open, transparent and team-based environment, and for a company providing support to individuals with disabilities living their best life.

Your responsibilities

You'll play a key role in keeping our facilities, grounds, and equipment safe and functional. Responsibilities include:

  • Performing general building maintenance and repairs (carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical)
  • Troubleshooting and maintaining automated HVAC systems and controls, fire alarms and other facility systems
  • Using an automated work order system to receive, track, and complete service requests efficiently
  • Monitoring, ordering, and purchasing maintenance supplies and parts to support timely repairs
  • Fleet service and maintenance, including insurance compliance and fleet monitoring
  • Supporting seasonal duties, including snow removal and groundskeeping
  • Participating in an on-call rotation for maintenance needs to ensure staff and residents remain safe

You have prior maintenance experience and are confident with basic building repair.

  • You're organized and reliable when it comes to purchasing supplies and managing inventory
  • You're comfortable working with automated work order systems to complete tasks efficiently

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED required
  • Minimum of 2 years verifiable maintenance experience preferred
  • Knowledge of heating/cooling systems (HVAC), fire alarms, surveillance, and building tech preferred
  • Experience with automated work order systems highly desirable
  • Valid driver's license and proof of insurance required
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs and safely use maintenance tools and equipment
