Full time, hands on position for someone eager to take on the responsibility for the ongoing maintenance of a best in class fitness center!
Daily work includes upkeep of fitness equipment, regular inspection of building interior, exterior, grounds and parking lot, communication and coordination with contractors and equipment manufacturers to ensure that all work meets applicable codes, regulations and safety protocols.
Knowledge of light electrical and HVAC systems. Experience with pool maintenance and department of health standards a huge plus! Articulate communicator and supervisor of housekeeping staff. Capable of enforcing safety compliance at all times and participating in Company Safety Meetings.
The ideal person for this job has the ability to respond within a short period of time to emergency situations at the Center. Enjoys being a team player who works cooperatively with management and co-workers to achieve Center goals and deliver exemplary customer service to our membership.
QUALIFICATIONS/CERTIFICATIONS: Ideal candidate has 1-3 years of prior experience mastering the following areas:
Construction, painting, equipment maintenance, repairs, HVAC, management and/or supervisory skills and abilities.
Certified Pool Operator, preferred. CPR, First Aid and AED trained and certified (or willingness to work towards upon hire).

Compensation: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
