Sydney CBD | 5-Star Hotel | Morning and afternoon shifts available

Looking for a full-time hospitality role where you can keep busy, work alongside an experienced kitchen team and take pride in a job well done?

Join Challenger Services Group as a Kitchen Steward at a prestigious 5-star Hotel in Sydney CBD. You’ll help keep the kitchen clean, organised and ready for service, supporting chefs and the wider team to deliver a great experience for guests.

Shifts available

• Morning shifts: Start between 6:00am and 8:00am.
• Afternoon shifts: Start in the afternoon and finish no later than midnight.

What you’ll do

You’ll play an important part in keeping a busy hotel kitchen running smoothly. Your duties will include:

• Operating commercial dishwashers and cleaning crockery, utensils and kitchen equipment.
• Keeping kitchen areas clean, hygienic and organised.
• Safely storing clean equipment and preparing items for functions and events.
• Supporting chefs with general kitchen duties.
• Following food safety, chemical handling and workplace safety procedures.

What you’ll bring

• Previous experience in a commercial kitchen, kitchen hand or stewarding role.
• A Food Handler Basics Certificate—essential.
• Uniform: Steel cap Boots and blakc trousers (required)
• A reliable approach and willingness to help your team.
• The ability to work safely in a busy, physically active role.
• An understanding of food safety, safe manual handling and chemical handling.
