
BARGAINING UNIT / LEVEL: Professional Bargaining Unit - Level 06/08
SALARY RANGE: $68,569 - 90,020 annually DOQ
GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES: Under the supervision of the Supervising Interpreter/Farm Center, this position assists in the daily operation of the Farm. Responsibilities include planning and delivering interpretive programs, caring for and maintaining farm livestock and crops, promoting public interest and appreciation of the farm, and recommending improvements to farm programs and operations. This position requires creativity, initiative, enthusiasm, professionalism, discretion, and reliability.
SUPERVISION RECEIVED: Works under the general direction of the Supervising Interpreter/Farm Center and is expected to work independently and exercise sound judgment.
SUPERVISION EXERCISED: This position may supervise interns and seasonal employees as assigned.

TOOLS & EQUIPMENT USED: Carpenter and artistic tools; personal computer including database, scheduling, publishing, spreadsheet, PowerPoint, and word processing software; calculator; copy and fax machines; telephone; GPS unit; radios; and automobile.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to walk, sit, talk and hear. Employee generally performs work in an outside environment. Outdoor environments will be subject to weather conditions to include heat, rain, and snow. Occasionally, the employee will be required to work in an office environment, where the noise level is usually moderately quiet.
