The Community Hospice has an exceptional opportunity for a compassionate and dedicated Full-Time Chaplain to join our Homecare Team serving Albany and Rensselaer Counties. As a valued member of our interdisciplinary hospice team, you will provide spiritual care, emotional support, and guidance to patients and families facing serious illness and end-of-life journeys.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys meaningful patient interactions while collaborating with a highly supportive team of healthcare professionals, including RNs, LPNs, hospice aides, medical directors, social workers, complementary therapists, chaplains, and volunteers.
The Hospice Chaplain serves as a key member of the interdisciplinary care team and is responsible for coordinating spiritual care services for patients and families of all faith traditions and backgrounds. The Chaplain provides spiritual counseling, emotional support, and bereavement-related guidance while contributing to the development and implementation of individualized patient and family care plans. Pay Range: $26.00 - $33.60
Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
