12-Hour Day Shifts | Sunday-Wednesday Rotation
Starting at $17.00/hr

What You'll Actually Do

As a Float DSP, you'll provide support across multiple residential sites in Mason City, Osage, and Nora Springs while helping individuals build independence and confidence in their daily lives.

In this role, you will:

  • Assist with daily living activities, including meals, hygiene, housekeeping, laundry, and cooking
  • Support medication administration and health-related needs
  • Encourage independence and community involvement
  • Transport individuals to appointments, activities, and community outings
  • Assist with grocery shopping, budgeting, and household routines
  • Build positive and meaningful relationships with the individuals you support
  • Complete electronic documentation and communication notes
  • Respond appropriately to behavioral or emergency situations using the provided training
  • Adapt to different homes, teams, and support needs throughout the week

You do not need previous DSP experience - we can teach the skills.

Basic Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Valid driver's license and proof of insurance required
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist with mobility needs
  • Comfortable using computers and electronic documentation systems
  • Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings
  • Willingness to complete required training and certifications
  • Ability to understand and implement written and verbal instructions
