Status: Full-time
Schedule: 7.50 Hours/Day (8:00 am-4:00 pm), Monday-Friday 260 Days/Year
Hourly Salary: $23.19
Grant-Funded Position: This position is funded through a one-year interim grant. Employment beyond that timeframe is contingent upon future grant funding.
PURPOSE OF POSITION:
The Early Head Start Family Engagement Specialist is responsible for coordinating family and community engagement activities in accordance with the Head Start Performance Standards for the Early Head Start programs in Lancaster and Lebanon Counties.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
Education Required: Associates degree in Human Services or related field.
Experience Required: Experience working with families.
Computer Skills: Strong computer skills: programs can include but not limited to Microsoft Office Suite, Web based programs, and data management systems.
Language Skills: Bilingual in Spanish/English preferred
