Hourly Rate: $52.00 - $55.00/Per Hour (Based on Documented Experience, Qualifications and Market Data)
This is a new position for a Dialysis Home Therapies Hemodialysis/Peritoneal Dialysis Registered Nurse (RN) to support our growth into a new, innovative home dialysis program in the Chicago metropolitan area.
The Dialysis Home Therapies Hemodialysis/Peritoneal Dialysis Registered Nurse (RN) will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient-centered care by educating, training, and supporting patients who perform dialysis in their homes. This role requires a strong clinical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build trusting relationships with patients and their caregivers.
As a critical part of our care team, the Home Hemodialysis RN will empower patients to manage their treatment safely and effectively while ensuring adherence to clinical and regulatory standards.
All duties and responsibilities are expected to be performed in accordance with company policy, procedures, standards of nursing practice, state and federal regulations and as directed by the appropriate chain of command.
The role will serve the general Chicago area. Role requires daily local travel in the Chicago metropolitan area (approx. 30-mile radius) to perform patient training and assessments in their home environment.
This job exists in a hospital, training center, patient residence, or in the medical unit of a post-acute or correctional facility. This role may include exposure to chemicals and blood-borne pathogens. This role routinely involves the use of both medical and standard office equipment.
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. This position requires the ability to push, pull or lift supplies and products up to 50 pounds. Specific visual abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
