
DUTIES:
Assists in supporting the educational and emotional needs of students, providing direct intervention and assistance to those experiencing behavioral or emotional crises. Helps maintain a safe and supportive school environment through de-escalation strategies, positive behavior reinforcement, and collaboration with staff. Serves as an active member of the school's crisis response team to help ensure timely and effective student support.
SALARY:
$25.00 - $30.75 per hour, based on experience, plus full-time benefits per RHEA, Coalition Unit, Paraprofessionals Chapter.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High School diploma required, plus one year of experience working with children or 30 college credit hoursMust complete Therapeutic Crisis Intervention Training.
