
We are seeking a Full-Time Classroom/Office Assistant to join our team at Sacred Heart Catholic School. The ideal candidate will provide support both in the classroom and in the school office to ensure smooth operations and a positive learning environment for students.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Prior experience working in a school setting or office environment preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficiency in basic computer applications
Responsibilities:
- Assist teachers in preparing materials for lessons and classroom activities
- Supervise students during lunch, recess, and transition time activities and maintain a safe and supportive learning environment
- Provide administrative support in the school office, including answering phones, filing, and data entry
- Collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, students, and parents to support the school community
- Perform other duties as assigned by school administration or classroom teachers to ensure the smooth functioning of the school
- Model and uphold the mission and values of Sacred Heart Catholic School in all interactions with students, families, and colleagues.
