About the Role:
Soccer Shots - SouthEast Mass is looking for an energetic and passionate Full Time Children's Soccer Coach to join their team in Plymouth, MA! This is a fantastic opportunity to combine your love of soccer with the joy of making a positive impact on young athletes. Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver age-appropriate soccer coaching sessions for children in a safe and engaging environment
- Lead youth soccer drills, games, and skill-building activities that promote physical development and teamwork
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding player progress and program updates
- Maintain a positive, encouraging, and high-energy atmosphere during all sessions
- Set up and break down equipment at various program locations throughout the SE Massachusetts area
- Uphold Soccer Shots' curriculum, values, and coaching standards at all times
- Adapt coaching techniques to meet the needs of diverse age groups and skill levels
Requirements:
- Passion for working with children and a natural ability to connect with young athletes
- Prior experience in soccer coaching, youth sports instruction, or child development preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with both kids and parents
- Reliable transportation to travel to program sites across the SE Massachusetts region
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including mornings, afternoons, and weekends
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Background check required
