Join Our Team as a Banquet Server!

Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment and take pride in delivering exceptional service? The Prince George Hotel is looking for a dedicated Full Time Banquet Server to join our Catering team and help create memorable guest experiences at a variety of events.

From corporate meetings to VIP functions, you’ll play a key role in ensuring every detail is executed flawlessly.

What You'll Do:

• Provide professional, courteous, and efficient food and beverage service
• Set up banquet rooms and ensure all details align with catering contracts
• Deliver food and beverage service in accordance with event style and timing
• Prepare and maintain portable bars following hotel standards
• Assist with audio-visual setup and ensure equipment is properly maintained
• Organize service areas, storage, and equipment to maintain cleanliness and safety
• Complete mise en place to ensure smooth and efficient service
• Deliver scheduled breaks and meals on time and according to specifications
• Provide elevated service for VIP events, including proper wine service
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding event details and changes
• Maintain logs, review daily communications, and ensure accurate documentation
• Follow all safety procedures and report hazards or incidents

What You Bring:

• Previous banquet or serving experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high service standards
• Excellent communication and guest service skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Knowledge of food and beverage service, including wine service (an asset)
• Bartending experience is an asset
• Flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
