The Opportunity

As an Assistant Store Manager at Starbucks, you’ll play a key leadership role in bringing the Starbucks Experience to life. Working closely with the Store Manager, you’ll help lead store operations, develop a high‑performing team, and create a welcoming third place for customers and communities.

This is a hands‑on leadership opportunity where you’ll grow your business acumen, coaching capability, and operational expertise while being supported to take the next step in your leadership career.

To be a Starbucks Assistant Store Manager

We’d love to hear from people who have:

  • A minimum of two years’ progressively responsible experience, including at least one year in a customer‑facing role
  • Strong organisational, interpersonal, and problem‑solving skills
  • The ability to lead effectively in a fast‑paced environment
  • Previous experience in store leadership roles, ideally within the hospitality or quick service restaurant sector
  • Experience supporting store operations and contributing to financial performance
  • Exposure to rostering, budgets, and profit & loss (P&L) reports
  • A proven ability to develop teams and foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging work environment
