Job Description

Peotone CUSD 207U is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Full-Time Afternoon Custodian (2pm - 10pm) at Peotone Elementary School to help maintain a safe and healthy learning environment for students and staff. This position is available immediately. The start date will be determined after acceptance of the position.

Salary/Pay:

  • $15.00 per hour
  • Full-Time
  • Benefits Include: Employer IMRF Contribution
  • 13 Sick, 2 Personal, 10 Vacation, 12 Holidays

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

Requirements for the Position:

  • Occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling
  • Some climbing and balancing
  • Frequent stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling
  • Significant fine finger dexterity
  • Generally, the job requires 5% sitting, 70% walking, and 25% standing
  • The job is performed under minimal temperature variations in a generally hazard-free environment

Pre-Employment Requirements:

  • Pass a pre-employment medical exam and criminal justice fingerprint/background clearance
