This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Full Stack Web Developer based in India.
This role offers the opportunity to build and enhance engaging web applications for a growing digital learning environment. You’ll work across both front-end and back-end development, taking projects from initial concept through to production. The position combines technical development with a strong focus on responsive design, usability, performance, and reliable functionality. You’ll collaborate with designers and other stakeholders to translate requirements into effective digital experiences. Your work will directly contribute to platforms that support online learning for children, teenagers, and adults. This is a hands-on opportunity for a versatile developer who enjoys solving problems and working across the full web development stack.
Accountabilities:
- Develop and maintain front-end web architecture using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and related technologies.
- Design and implement intuitive user interactions and responsive web interfaces.
- Develop, maintain, and optimize back-end web applications using appropriate server-side technologies.
- Build and integrate APIs to support reliable communication between applications and services.
- Ensure websites and applications perform consistently across browsers, devices, and platforms, including mobile.
- Take ownership of projects throughout the development lifecycle, from initial requirements and architecture through development, testing, deployment, and ongoing improvements.
- Collaborate with designers and other stakeholders to implement effective web design features and user experiences.
- Translate technical requirements and consumer needs into scalable and user-friendly solutions.
- Work with databases and ensure efficient data management and application performance.
- Apply object-oriented programming principles and MVC-based development practices.
- Troubleshoot technical issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
- Stay current with developments in web technologies, programming languages, frameworks, and development best practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline or equivalent practical experience.
- Proven professional experience in web programming or full stack web development.
- Strong proficiency in fundamental front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience with JavaScript frameworks or libraries such as Angular, React, or Ember.
- Strong knowledge of at least one server-side programming language, such as PHP, Python, Ruby, Java, or .NET; experience with Core PHP is particularly relevant.
- Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases such as MySQL, Oracle, or MongoDB.
- Good understanding of APIs, AJAX, XML, and modern web application fundamentals.
- Thorough understanding of object-oriented programming concepts.
- Experience with MVC-based frameworks and JavaScript frameworks.
- Knowledge of jQuery and experience developing or consuming APIs.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage projects from conception through completion.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a practical approach to debugging and technical challenges.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of web and interface design is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with designers and other stakeholders.
