Hiire is helping Bauer Media Group hire a Full Stack Solutions Engineer to support their mission-critical digital audio services.

Your mission:

Design and deliver scalable digital solutions by combining full stack software engineering with applied AI capabilities, enabling the development of AI-powered products and improving engineering efficiency across teams.

Your Role:

• Design, develop and maintain backend services and APIs supporting digital platforms and products

• Contribute to full stack development, including web applications where required

• Build and integrate AI-powered features using LLMs and related technologies

• Integrate AI capabilities into existing systems and support new product development

• Contribute to solution architecture, ensuring scalability, performance and maintainability

• Improve development workflows through the use of AI-assisted coding tools

• Support and guide engineering teams in adopting AI tools and best practices

• Collaborate with product and technical teams to translate business needs into technical solutions

• Document solutions, architecture and best practices to ensure knowledge sharing and continuity

• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, including innovation and experimentation with new technologies

• Contribute to the evolution of internal platforms and AI-driven capabilities across the organization

Job Requirements

Educational Background:

• Preferably a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field

Professional Knowledge and Experiences:

• Solid experience in backend development (e.g., Node.js, Python, Java or similar)

• Experience building and consuming APIs in production environments

• Experience with full-stack or web development

• Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

• Strong understanding of system design and scalable architectures

• Hands-on experience with LLMs (e.g., OpenAI, Claude, or similar)

• Experience building AI-driven features (prompting, workflows, agents)

• Proficiency in using AI tools to support software engineering (e.g., code generation, debugging, refactoring, documentation)

Other skills:

• Experience with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot or similar)

• Ability to work across multiple teams and domains

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

• Proactivity and ownership

• Clear communication

Working Pattern / Location:

• Hybrid role based in Lisbon: 4 days office / 1 day home.
