Their platform offers a comprehensive suite of services, including virtual visits, lab testing, imaging, referrals, and prescription management, designed to support patients throughout their healthcare journey. By connecting patients with clinicians and coordinating care with specialists, this company is building the infrastructure for seamless, patient-centered healthcare.
What You Will Do
- Design and develop full-stack features for virtual care, lab integrations, imaging workflows, and prescription services.
- Build and maintain APIs and services to facilitate communication between patients, clinicians, and third-party healthcare providers.
- Contribute to architectural decisions and define engineering best practices across the team.
- Write clean, well-tested, and documented code with a focus on performance, security, and maintainability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate clinical and product requirements into robust technical solutions.
- Identify and resolve bugs, performance bottlenecks, and technical debt across the stack.
- Stay current with healthcare technology trends and data privacy regulations.
Ideal Candidate Background
- 2–5 years of professional software engineering experience with a strong ability to work across front-end and back-end systems.
- Proven track record of shipping production-quality features end-to-end with minimal supervision.
- Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs or GraphQL services.
- Familiarity with relational or NoSQL databases and efficient data model design.
- Strong understanding of software development fundamentals, including data structures and algorithms.
Preferred
- Experience in a healthcare, health-tech, or similarly regulated industry.
- Familiarity with HIPAA compliance and secure handling of protected health information.
- Exposure to healthcare interoperability standards such as HL7 or FHIR.
Compensation and Benefits
The base salary for this role ranges from $150K to $185K. The company offers a dynamic work environment where you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patient outcomes.
