About Western Reporting

You will be joining the Western Reporting team. The brand services includes multiple background screening services, aimed to help businesses make informed hiring and tenant decisions while ensuring compliance with laws like the FCRA and HIPAA. Working on this team the focus is on data security and confidentiality, while ensuring our customers satisfaction.

We are looking for a skilled Full Stack .NET Developer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate has strong experience building modern web applications using .NET, SQL databases, and Angular, with additional exposure to Azure cloud services.Experience with PHP is a plus. You will work across the full software development lifecycle, contributing to architecture, development, testing, and deployment of scalable applications.

What You’ll Do (Functions & Responsibilities)

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications using .NET (C#) and Angular.
• Build and optimize SQL database structures, queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning.
• Develop RESTful APIs, microservices, and integration layers.
• Implement secure, scalable, and maintainable cloud solutions using Microsoft Azure services.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including UX, QA, and Product.
• Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and best-practice improvements.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues.
• Optional: maintain or support existing PHP codebases as needed.

What We’re Looking For (Minimum qualifications)

• 3–5+ years of experience as a Full Stack or Software Developer.
• Proficiency with .NET / .NET Core and C#.
• Hands-on experience with Angular.
• Strong SQL skills including query optimization.
• Experience building and consuming REST APIs.
• Experience deploying or developing in Azure.
• Understanding of software design patterns and unit testing.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks including Selenium.
• Experience with Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipelines.

Preferred

Qualifications (Nice-to-Have)

• Experience with PHP.
• Familiarity with additional CI/CD tools.
• Experience with Docker or Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of identity and security frameworks.

Soft Skills

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Ability to work in an agile environment.

Education Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, similar technical field of study or equivalent practical experience.
