Job Title: Full Stack Engineer

• We are seeking a talented and experienced Full Stack Developer to join our innovative team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in both front-end and back-end development, with expertise in Java, Spring Boot, microservices architecture, and cloud platforms, specifically Google Cloud Platform (GCP). You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust and scalable web applications across the entire stack.

Your key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain responsive and interactive user interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

• Develop and maintain scalable and secure backend services using Java and Spring Boot.

• Implement and manage microservices-based applications.

• Develop and maintain robust RESTful APIs for seamless integration between front-end and third-party systems.

• Utilize Hibernate and JPA for efficient data access and persistence.

• Work with containerization tools like Docker to deploy and manage applications.

• Deploy and manage applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices, including unit and integration testing.

• Collaborate effectively with UI/UX designers, product managers, QA engineers, and DevOps teams throughout the software development lifecycle.

• Participate in code reviews and contribute to architectural discussions.

• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance.

• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends.

Your skills and experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer with a strong focus on Java

• Extensive experience with front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+).

• Strong proficiency in front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, or Vue.js). Extensive experience with Spring Boot and the Spring Framework.

• In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with Microservices architecture and design patterns.

• Proficiency in Hibernate and JPA for object-relational mapping.

• Demonstrable experience in designing, building, and consuming RESTful APIs.

• Solid understanding and practical experience with Docker for containerization.

• Experience deploying and managing applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

• Familiarity with relational databases (e.g., Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL).

• Experience with Git for version control.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical mindset.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions).

• Knowledge of container orchestration tools like Kubernetes.

• Understanding of security best practices.

• Experience in an Agile/Scrum development environment.

Proven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, optimise workflows to solve business problems, while applying critical judgment to ensure responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs.
