Full stack developer with architecture knowledge

REWE digital Spain is located in the Technological Park of Andalusia (PTA) in Malaga. As a team of 50 colleagues, we drive innovation for REWE digital in Germany.

As a Fullstack Developer, you will support an agile product development team in the creation of modern software solutions that correctly generate, validate and provide B2B invoices within the REWE group. Therefore, you and your team are responsible for the accurate processing of invoices totaling more than 20 billion euros per year and to ensure the liquidity of the business units inside the REWE group.

What you will do:

• Develop, maintain and support the B2B Invoicing applications

• Participate in architectural discussions and decisions

• Collaborate closely with different product roles and team members

• Be engaged in the whole product development lifecycle

• Be part of a cross-functional international team

What we are looking for:

• Minimum 6 – 7 years of extensive experience with Java and Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring Data, Spring Security)

• Experience with Angular

• Experience with Kafka

• Good understanding of microservices architecture

• Containerized applications using Docker and deployment to K8s environment

• Good understanding of relational database concepts

• Proactive mindset and problem-solving skills

• Working experience in Agile product development practices

• Excellence in code quality standards

• Foster a code review and testing culture

Nice to have

• Interest in DevOps

• Experience in E2E Testing (Cypress, Selenium, Playwright)

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (particularly using GitLab
