This role is Onsite - Toronto, Canada

6 months contract with possible extension

Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into working, tested applications, including developing detailed programming specifications, writing/generating code, compiling data-driven programs, maintaining, and conducting unit tests.
• Resolve and troubleshoot technical problems during the use and operation of software packages, including technical assistance in implementation, conversion, and migrations.

Technical Skills:

• Proficient with both front-end and back-end development, including associated areas such as database design/management and DevOps.
• Knowledge and experience with design and implementation of the overall web architecture.
• Experience with implementation of approved user interface, design, and deployment of database.
• Knowledge and experience ensuring the entire stack is designed and built for speed and scalability.
• Knowledge and experience with the design and construction of REST API services.
• Knowledge and experience integrating front-end UI with the constructed API.
• Knowledge and experience in design and implementation of continuous integration and deployment.
• Knowledge and hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services such as:

§ Azure App Service § Azure SQL Database § Azure Storage Accounts § Azure Logic Apps § Azure API Management

• Knowledge and experience in Angular, Azure, React, Logic Apps Azure SQL, App Services - C+, JavaScript, CSS, HTML, Spring Boot, Java, and ASP.Net Core.

Requirements

Must Haves:

• Knowledge and experience in Angular, React, JavaScript, CSS, HTML, Spring Boot.
• Experience with implementation of approved user interface, design, and deployment of database.
• Experience in Azure Services

Technical Skills and Knowledge – 50% • Angular, React, Java, Spring Boot knowledge and experience

• Azure app service and Azure SQL experience
• Technical architectural support
• Technical solutioning and support for project/tech leads
• Experience with Scrum, Kanban, and other Agile frameworks Agile and Technical Frameworks – 25%
• Proficiency in Agile frameworks such as Scrum
• Ability to implement Agile practices in technical projects
• Experience with Agile tools like Azure DevOps

Business Requirements and Project Management Skill – 15%

• Project Management Skills (i.e., effort estimation, project plan, risk/issue management, solutions presentation, etc.)
• Business and end-user engagement
• Business requirement analysis, options analysis, and recommendation CI/CD

DevOps and Infrastructure – 10%

• Experience with Azure DevOps pipelines / Git
• Technical experience with infrastructure and operational needs for development teams (i.e., Oracle, SQL Server, Cloud support)
• Knowledge of CI/CD best practices and tools
• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes Evaluation Criteria

Evaluation Criteria:

Technical Skills (80%)

• Proficiency in Angular, React (front-end), and Spring Boot (back-end).
• Experience designing reusable components and scalable backend services.
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs, UX/UI principles, AI/ML frameworks and system integration.
• Expertise in cloud-based solutions, DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and microservices architecture.
• Ability to troubleshoot, optimize performance, and ensure security compliance.
