As a successful teammate, help build innovative, full stack software applications spanning front-end UI, back-end services, and data layers. As a full stack software engineer, be a member of the team that implements new applications end-to-end, improves existing application features across the stack, while adding performance and software quality metrics to our codebase. Design and develop enterprise-level, highly available web application platforms applying Java, Spring frameworks, JPA & Hibernate, REST/SOAP web services on the back end, and modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React/Vue/Angular) on the front end. Develop prototypes and POCs to demonstrate new ideas or illustrate the use of new technologies — including generative AI and AI-assisted coding tools (e.g., Apple internal AI coding assistants or similar LLM-based tools) — and how to apply them into our systems to improve developer productivity and code quality. Actively use AI-powered tools throughout the SDLC — for code generation, code review, test-case generation, debugging, documentation, and refactoring — to increase engineering efficiency and reduce time-to-delivery. Where applicable, integrate AI/ML-driven features (e.g., intelligent automation, recommendation logic, natural language interfaces) into enterprise applications to deliver smarter end-user experiences. 5+ years of proven experience in architecting and developing event-based, distributed, highly available systems.
5+ years of proven experience and knowledge in developing and handling enterprise-level technology at a global scale.
Hands-on with one or more cloud platforms and managed services.
Expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Kubernetes, and Docker.
Experience working with client-facing web apps, as a full stack developer owning both UI and services layers.
Solid knowledge of web application development using client-side frameworks/libraries like ReactJS/VueJS, jQuery, Bootstrap. Hands-on experience developing SPAs (Single Page Applications).
Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, distributed cache, and a clear understanding of standard methodologies & problem areas while handling large distributed datasets.
Experience in building e-commerce applications.
Practical experience applying AI/ML in software development — e.g., using generative AI for code generation/review, prompt engineering, building or integrating with LLM-based services/APIs, or embedding intelligent automation into enterprise applications.
Exceptional software engineering background with an outstanding body of work demonstrating experience in software development, solution architecture, and product management.
Understanding of Microservice Architecture, SAP Cloud Foundry features & capabilities.
Thorough understanding of Software Development Lifecycle, tools, and standard methodologies — including how AI-assisted tooling fits into modern SDLC practices.
Solid understanding of source control software (SVN or Git), experience with build and deployment tools (e.g., Maven, Gradle), and experience with automated testing methodologies and frameworks.
Sharp problem-solving skills and real-world systems deployment experience. Consistent track record with rapid development cycles and demanding schedules.
